The Punisher #10

An awesome late-’80s Marvel issue featuring two of Marvel’s toughest street-level characters going head-to-head! The Punisher #10, published by Marvel Comics in August 1988, guest-stars Daredevil in a brutal confrontation with Frank Castle.

Punisher and Daredevil have always made for a great matchup because of their completely different approaches to fighting crime. Matt Murdock believes in justice and the law, while Frank Castle is willing to permanently eliminate the people he considers guilty. Put the two together and conflict is almost guaranteed.

And the cover sells it perfectly—Daredevil and Punisher locked in close combat, with Frank armed with both a knife and handgun. It’s a simple but extremely effective cover that immediately tells you what you're getting.
